The Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam was Rembrandt's home from 1639 to 1658. Here, the artist lived with his family and welcomed his friends. In this house, Rembrandt created his famous paintings and brilliant etchings, taught his pupils, and cherished his art collection. The museum owns a magnificent collection of prints - of which a changing selection is always on view - and contains the reconstruction of Rembrandt's home and studio.
