Slow living is an ethos that encourages us to reclaim time for what we value most. It's about identifying the things and people we can't live without and cultivating spaces devoted to whatever brings us joy and meaning. In "The Kinfolk Home", author Nathan Williams and the "Kinfolk" team welcome us into 35 residences that reflect some of the kay principles of slow living, such as cultivating community, simplifying our lives and reclaimingm our leisure time. Through a mix of portrait and interior photography, profiles and essays, we're welcomed into the homes of designers, entrepreneurs, architects, photographers and stylists. Delving deeper than decor, Williams invites them to share their values, the ways those ideals have shaped their homes and the ways their homes have in turn shaped them.
