The Cambridge Companion to the American Modernist Novel offers a comprehensive analysis of US modernism as part of a wider, global literature. Joshua Miller is Associate Professor of English and Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. His first book, Accented America: The Cultural Politics of Multilingual Modernism, analyzed the mixed languages of interwar US literary modernism. He is also coeditor of the forthcoming book, The Languages of Modern Jewish Cultures.
