Dr Ankit Garg has obtained his PhD from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme and B.Tech from IIT Guwahati (2006-2010). He was former Assistant Professor at IIT, Guwahati (2015-2017) and part time World Bank Consultant (2016-2017) for monitoring transport infrastructure projects in Assam, India. His research focuses on development and utilization of sustainable materials (biochar, fiber) including vegetation for geo-environmental applications. He has published more than 92 Web of Science (WoS) publications (WoS Citations: 1038; h-index: 19). He has also presided over the Fast Track Young Scientist Project (2016-2017) from SERB India during his tenure at IIT Guwahati. Doctor Bingxiang Yuan, professor and “Youth 100 A” in the Guangdong University of Technology. He works as a letter evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Shaanxi Province, and Zhejiang Province. He is also a member of the Academic Committee of Pile Foundation of China Civil Engineering Society; a director of the Red Layer Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He serves as an editorial board member of the SCI journal, Advances in Civil Engineering. Yu Zhang has developed a multi-field coupling full automatic servo tester for rock and soil media and a low permeability rock permeability testing device based on liquid media. Besides, he published 25 high-level papers in SCI and EI journals as the first author and one of his articles was selected as the lead of top academic paper of 5000-Chinese top quality scientific journals; he also authorized 5 invention patents as the first inventor. He was rated as "Qingdao West Coast New Area Top Level Shortage Talent (Smart Island Plan)" by the West Coast New Area, and was awarded the nomination award for Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talents in the field of mining, petroleum and safety engineering in Chinese universities.
