Corporate Governance comprises rules for monitoring and governing an enterprise. In the last few years, these rules have been nationally and internationally enforced by law. The SAP solutions for Governance, Risk and Compliance help organizations comply with these regulations.
In an effort to provide the most robust GRC solutions, SAP acquired the company Virsa and integrated the components Process Control, Access Control, and Risk Management into the GRC application. Beyond that, several existing solutions were relocated under the GRC application group, as well, including EH&S, the solution for occupational and environmental safety, and GTS, the solution for international trade.
