This book provides in-depth exposure to emerging technologies and recent advancements in RF, Microwave, and Millimetre Wave Technologies. The book covers the basic concepts along with the recent advancements in designing and developing antennas and circuits for the latest technologies. Dr. Hemant Kumar obtained his B.Tech. (Honors) in ECE from Kurukshetra University in 2010 and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2018. Currently, He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE at NIT Tiruchirappalli. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Kumar has actively participated in various extracurricular activities, showcasing his social, cultural, leadership, and organizational skills. He was awarded a Gold Medal in BTech by the Haryana State Governor. His research interests include electromagnetics, antennas, microwave passive circuits, and monopulse radar. He has published 25+ research articles in reputed national/international journals and conferences, and also holds one patent. Additionally, He holds prestigious roles, such as the editor of the IETE Journal of Research (published by Taylor & Francis), and a reviewer for various national/international journals, including IEEE, IET, IETE, etc. He is a senior member of IEEE and URSI, a life Senior member of the WAMS Society, and a life member of IETE, ATMS, and IEI. He is a recipient of the IETE Sri C Viswanatha Reddy Memorial Award 2023. He has also been honored with the Innovation in Microwave Field Award 2023, conferred by IEEE APS/MTTS Joint Chapter, Gujarat.
Dr. E. S. Gopi has authored nine books published by Springer. He has several papers in reviewed book chapters, conference publications and journals to his credit. He has got several research papers published in the reputed journals, reviewed book chapters and conference proceedings. He was the editor for the proceedings of MDCWC2020, published in the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering. He has 24 years of teaching and research experience. He is the coordinator for the pattern recognition and the computational intelligence laboratory. He is currently Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Trichy (Government of India). His books are widely used all over the world. His book on “Pattern recognition and Computational intelligence using Matlab”, Springer was recognized as one of the bestebook under “pattern recognition” and “Matlab” categories by the Book authority, world’s leading site for book recommendations by thought leaders.
