Mona M. Hella is an associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems; and a trust leader for the NSF Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center. Dr. Hella has held positions at RF Micro-Devices, Spirea-AB, and several other companies. She has been a recipient of the Egyptian Award of Excellence, Micrys Fellowship, and Texas Instrument Fellowship; an administrative committee member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society; and a technical program committee member of the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI, and IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium.
Patrick Mercier is an assistant professor and co-director of the Center for Wearable Sensors at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He also serves as an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems and IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems. Prof. Mercier has been a recipient of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC) Julie Payette Fellowship, NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships, Intel Ph.D. Fellowship, International Solid-State Circuits Conference Jack Kilby Award for Outstanding Student Paper, UCSD Graduate Teaching Award in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hellman Fellowship Award, Beckman Young Investigator Award, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Young Faculty Award.
