He was on research staff at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada from 2001 to 2010. He has been an Af?liate Associate Professor at Concordia University since 2011. Prior to 2001, he was on technical staff with Huawei Technologies, China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008.
