Simon Fong graduated from La Trobe University, Australia, with a 1st Class Honors B.Eng. Computer Systems degree and a Ph.D. Computer Science degree in 1993 and 1998, respectively. Simon is now working as Associate Professor at the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Macau. Prior to his academic career, Simon took up various IT posts in Melbourne, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Dr. Fong has published over 396 international conference and journal papers, mostly in the areas of data mining and metaheuristics. He is also one of the founding members of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Research Group in the Faculty of Science and Technology.

He was an honorary Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012–2015). He is Research Scientist of Laboratory of Applied Mathematical Modeling in Human Physiology, Territorial Organization of Scienti?c and Engineering Unions, Bulgaria. He is Associate Researcher of Laboratoire RIADI, University of Manouba, Tunisia. He is Scienti?c Member of—Politécnica of Porto. He is an af?liated member of Signal Processing and Computational Intelligence Applied to Power Systems (PSCOPE) research group, Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. He was awarded his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2015. In addition, recently. he was awarded as one among the top 10 most published academics in the ?eld of Computer Science in India (2015–17) during ‘Faculty Research Awards’ organized by Careers 360 at New Delhi, India. Before he joined JIS University, he was Assistant Professor of JIS College of Engineering and Bengal College of Engineering and Technology and Techno International New Town. He has authored/edited more than 85 books with Elsevier, Wiley, CRC Press and Springer and published more than 300 papers. His h-index is 51 with more than 10,000 citations. He is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI, IGI Global, UK, Scopus), Co-editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Synthetic Emotions (IGI Global, US, DBLP, ACM dl) and International Journal of Natural Computing Research (IGI Global, US, DBLP, ACM dl). His main research interests include medical imaging, machine learning, computer-aided diagnosis as well as data mining. He has been on program committees of over 100 international conferences, a workshop organizer of 15 workshops, and acted as a program co-chair and/or advisory chair of more than 15 international conferences. He has given more than 60 invited lectures in ten countries, including many invited plenary/keynote talks at the international conferences such as ITITS2017 (China), TIMEC2017 (Egypt) and BioCom2018 (UK), etc.
Dr. Amit Joshi is currently Director of Global Knowledge Research Foundation, also an entrepreneur and researcher who has completed his graduation (B.Tech.) in Information Technology and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and completed his research in the areas of cloud computing and cryptography in medical imaging with a focus on analysis of the current government strategies and world forums needs in different sectors on security purposes. He has an experience of around ten years in academic and industry in prestigious organizations. He is an active member of ACM, IEEE, CSI, AMIE, IACSIT-Singapore, IDES, ACEEE, NPA, and many other professional societies.
