This book presents the figure of Father Antonio Fanchini, missionary of the Congregation of the Oblates of Saint Joseph, martyred during the Second World War. Having arrived in the Philippines in 1927, he remained there for eighteen years carrying out his pastoral ministry among "his people" - sharing their joys and hardships, hopes and expectations - to offer, as a final act of love, his life for save Eucharistic Jesus.
