First produced in Egypt and later refined by successive cultures, tiles have been used for a variety of purposes throughout the centuries. This collection, drawn from the Inax Tile Museum, presents a rich panorama of examples, including elegant Iznik tiles of the Ottoman Turks, the Majolica tiles of Spain and the Delft tiles from the Netherlands.
