French photographer, Claude Iverné has been exploring the North and South Sudan for over twenty years. In this monograph, he invites us to wander across the territory. Working in B&W and colour, he takes a sharp, sensitive and distanced look at the country and its inhabitants.
Winner of the 2015 HCB Award for this work, this publication coincides with the exhibition presented at the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation in Paris from May 11 to July 30, 2017 followed by Aperture Foundation in New York in the Fall.
