Karen M. Smith ist Informatikerin in der J. B. Morrell Library der Universität York. Gegenwärtig entwickelt sie Suchstrategien für systematische Übersichten und Forschungsprojekte. Nach ihrem Universitätsabschluss in Bibliothekswesen mit Honours an der Leeds Metropolitan University, verfolgte sie eine umfangreiche Karriere in öffentlichen-, medizinischen- sowie Hochschulbibliotheken wie zum Beispiel dem St. George's Hospital in London, den Derbyshire Public Libraries und York Hospital.
John A. Flannery ist freiberuflicher Projektmanager und hat sich auf die Instandsetzung von historischen und denkmalgeschützten Gebäuden spezialisiert. Er erwarb an der Leeds Metropolitan University einen Abschluss zum Industriedesigner und kann auf über 25 Jahre Erfahrung in der Leitung von Design- und Materialbeschaffung zurückgreifen. Diverse seiner Bauprojekte waren für den industriellen- kommerziellen- sowie privaten Sektor und verteilen sich über ganz Europa, Afrika und die USA.

Ms. K. M. Smith is an Information Specialist in Health Sciences at the J. B. Morrell Library, University of York, England. With an honours degree in Librarianship from Leeds Metropolitan University, Ms. Smith has followed an extensive and varied career in public, healthcare and higher education libraries including St.George's Hospital Medical School, London, Derbyshire Public Libraries and York Hospital.
Currently she is involved in information retrieval education and research.
Mr J. A. Flannery is a freelance Project Manager with qualifications in industrial design from Leeds Metropolitan University. Mr Flannery has over 25 years experience in the Design, Procurement and Project Management of a wide range of projects in the industrial, commercial and private sectors throughout Europe, Africa and the U.S.A.
He currently specialises in the restoration of listed historical buildings.
